1. Mental Ability Test (MAT) — 40 Questions, 50 Marks
This section tests the non-verbal reasoning ability of the candidate. Questions are based on figures, diagrams, and patterns that assess the candidate's ability to think logically.
Pattern Completion: Identifying the missing part of a figure/pattern
Figure Matching: Finding identical or similar figures from options
Odd One Out: Identifying the figure that doesn't belong to the group
Mirror Images: Finding the mirror reflection of a given figure
Embedded Figures: Identifying a small figure hidden within a complex figure
Analogy: Establishing relationships between pairs of figures
Space Visualization: Paper cutting and folding-based questions
Series Completion: Completing a sequence of figures/numbers following a rule

This section is based on 4 reading comprehension passages. Questions test:
Reading comprehension and inference
Grammar — Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Prepositions

Sentence arrangement and completion
Tenses and their correct usage
