How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to exams.nta.nic.in/Sainik-School-Society or nta.ac.in.

  2. New Registration: Click on "Apply for AISSEE 2026" and create an account with a valid email and mobile number.

  3. Fill Application Form: Log in to enter personal details, academic info, and your preference for Sainik Schools (New or Existing).

  4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of the student's photo, signature, and thumb impression.

  5. Pay Application Fee:

    • General/OBC(NCL)/Defence: ₹850

    • SC/ST: ₹700

  6. Submit & Print: Review all details carefully, submit the form, and download the Confirmation Page.

Required Documents

  • Proof of Identity: [Aadhaar Redacted] or any valid Government ID proof.

  • Date of Birth Proof: Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Committee/Corporation.

  • Domicile Certificate: Issued by the State Government (required for state quota).

  • Caste Certificate: For SC/ST/OBC candidates (NCL category).

  • Service Certificate: For wards of Defence Personnel/Ex-Servicemen (PPO for veterans).

  • Photographs: Recent passport-size (10kb–200kb) and student's signature (4kb–30kb).

  • Thumb Impression: Scanned copy of the candidate's left-hand thumb impression.

  • Class V/VIII Marksheet: Progress report or certificate from the current school.
